A brand that's
bold enough
to bite back

Naughty Nectar came to us with a clear personality — playful, punchy, and unapologetically fruity — but no visual language to match. They needed a full brand identity built from scratch: a logo system, colour palette, and a motion-first ad campaign to launch across social.

The challenge was to make something premium enough to command attention, yet warm and fun enough to feel approachable on a shelf or a phone screen.

How we got
from idea
to execution

Discovery & Mood-boarding

We started by mapping the brand’s personality. Playful but not childish. Natural but not boring. We pulled references from premium juice bars, editorial food photography, and tropical illustration to define the visual territory.

Logo Concept Development

The centrepiece of the identity is the fruit-cup icon — a cup whose silhouette is filled with slices of orange, kiwi, and pomegranate. This single mark communicates the product, the ingredients, and the vibrancy all at once. Multiple colourways were developed: a full-colour version on deep purple, a black-background variant, and a simplified monochrome icon for small-format use.

Colour & Typography System

The palette is anchored by deep aubergine purple — a premium, unexpected backdrop that makes every fruit colour pop. Bold reds, warm oranges, and rich greens form the accent system, pulling directly from the fruit motifs in the mark.

The wordmark uses a confident serif with a small botanical leaf detail on the “y” — tying the type and icon together as one cohesive system.

Motion & Ad Production

With the identity locked, we moved into motion. The ad campaign was designed to work in short social cuts — introducing the brand, building the visual world, and ending with a clear product moment. Each segment of the final edit was crafted to hold attention as a standalone clip or as part of a longer sequence.
